In short: The pain, oh the pain
In full: Can't realy add much to what has already been said but I don't think that it is something for the faint hearted. Did feel a wonderful sense of achievement when I finished and I am certain that, minus the support, I would not have made it. A big thank you to the organisers, supporters and walkers who for some reason were happy to stand out in the wind and cheer us on! If the pain has gone by next year............I will be back

In short: Some things should never change
In full: This is a superb run, extremely challenging with some tough ups and downs, well organised great location, large choice of refreshments at the end in the tithe barn.
Well done Cheltenham, keep it exactly as it is, you have achieved perfection.

In short: Great race, good organisation, really tough!
In full: Good race HQ with a friendly crowd - really tough course, my first off road but plenty of variety. Nice T Shirt and a specially badged bottle of beer were nice touches. Glad the sun was shining, the walk back to the carpark would have been miserable if it was raining.

In short: Tougher than 14 miles would suggest
In full: I think this is my 6th running of this race and it never gets any easier, but I love this race.

In short: Tough
In full: Very tough especially with the warm day. Tough climbs with equally tough downhills due to tired legs. Nice social feel at HQ

In short: Hills, hills, and more hills! What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday!
In full: I expected tough hills and a bit of walking. I got more of both than I expected. I loved (nearly) every minute of it!

In short: Tough.. yes - rewarding... oh yes.
In full: 2009 was my first Cleevewold but what a gas! Brilliant race, fab scenery, challenging but with some fun descents and a few stiles to leap over. The organisation was top drawer - just hope it doesn't become too popular.

In short: Sunshine, skylarks, aches and cakes
In full: My third running of this race and it just gets better and better. A well-organised yet informal and friendly atmosphere atthe race hq in a medieval barn. Stunning and expansive views from Cleeve Cloud across Cheltenham to the Malverns and the Black Mountains - accompanied by a soundtrack of burbling skylarks. A series of shorter climbs to sap your leg muscles before the really draining climb from the low point of the course up to Belas Knap. A couple of extra inclines thrown in just before the end to really push you beyond an already overstretched comport zone. A good looking T-shirt as a momento of something you really feel you've earned. And finally, the opportunity to o/d on cake and tea whilst sitting in the spring sun. Many thanks Cheltenham Harriers for a great event!

In short: Tough off-road race, with brilliant scenery
In full: I knew this was a tough race, and it lived up to expectations. The weather was superb, views spectacular, route marking and marshals excellent (thanks to you all). There was great support from the small groups of walkers that were passed en-route. The atmosphere at the end was great. Went home at the end very tired, but very satisfied. Well done to the organisers-truely a race to remember.
