In short: friendly and well organized, but be ready for the big evil hill
In full: I entered this on a whim at the last minute having been knocked out for a month with illness. It was a pretty nice day for the race which was all on quiet tarmac roads, but the hill that started at the 4 mile marker seemed to be very long indeed. That hurt. A lot. However, it was extremely friendly, well supported and well organized. I found it easy to park, register and use the facilities despite arriving just 20 minutes prior to the start of the race. I'd do it again.

In short: Very Good race.
In full: After the rain and wind last year,it was nice to see the weather was a bit better this year.
Well organised race which is quite flat with just the one hill to worry about at 4 miles. nice to have a medal this year to.
will be back next year.

In short: Very well organised local race
In full: After the gale force winds and driving rain of last year I was back again and once again the event organisation didn't disappoint.

In short: Wet & windy but a PB none the less!
In full: Very wet & windy conditions but a thoroughly enjoyable race.

Great organisation, atmosphere and the few supporters who braved the conditions were very welcome.

Even the hill at mile 4 didnt dampen my spirits and I will be returning next year for sure!

In short: good race, rubbish weather.
In full: Full of admiration for the marshals who braved the conditions without the incentive of running to the finish line to escape the cold driving rain. Metal water bottle was a good momento making a nice change from a medal.

In short: Great race, but not the best of weather !!
In full: Ran this race for the first time last year, and wanted to come back this year to beat last years time.

The weather wasn't the best but I must say a big thanks to the organisers and marshalls who cheered runs on in horrible conditions.

Will be back next year for sure.

In short: Great race
In full: Excellent value race with a few twists along the route. It's all off road on footpaths and tracks, including through slurry on a farm and over an equestrian site - including jumps. A great fun race with no expensive an unecessary extras - if you're looking for goody bags and crowds it's not for you. If on the other hand you like a fun morning out in some lovely countryside with supportive marshalls and homemade cakes afterwards then sign up!
