In short: Excellent organisation, well marshalled, great PB potential
In full: Despite the bad weather at the start of the day this proved to be an ideal pre-Christmas run. Not only was there a great memento at the finish but we also had the welcoming smell of bacon rolls to hurry us through the finish area. The only negative note was that someone left with my HSBC umbrella!

In short: Great race with tons of PB potential
In full: Having started the day pessimisticaly with the weather and wishing that I had trained harder beforehand, was very surprised to better my PB by a minute. Organisation was excellent well done Alchester.

In short: Good race
In full: This is normally a good race for a PB. The wind however put paid to that idea for me -it seemed to be in your face for at lest 75% of the time. It was good that the rain stopped for the race but there were sections that were very slippy and 2 or three muddy water obstacles, which soaked my feet at about halfway. The marshals were all good and there is good carparking. The showers ans changing facilities were excellent. Memento top notch - a complete turn around from 2006. I would certainly do this again - it is one of my favourite races and in 2005 and 2006 the conditions were perfect for a PB, we were just unlucky this time round.

In short: Good race overall would definitely do it again
In full: Really good race, well organised apart from the drinks station! Shame that the weather was so wet as parts of the course were very muddy.

In short: Nice run, good for pace, weather held out, and a unique and generout prize!
In full: Was my first time, but am sure I'll be back for more.
Superbly marshalled (have never seen so many marshalls on hand before - many thanks to you all).
Weather was atrocious on the way there, but the rain held off for the run, and the wind calmed somewhat, meaning I was still able to get a new PB.
Only slight gripe was that the gun blew before we'd all been led to the start, meaning rapid fumbling with MP3 player to be ready, and starting further back than planned, but next time I'll make sure I head off sooner!
All in all, a top run, and I heard the momento descibed by another runner as 'the best he'd ever had following a race'. A lovely souvenir of a lovely day out.
Just a shame I had to go shopping after.
Can I suggest changing the date to not pre-xmas ;-)
