In short: Supportive, friendly and good flat race with a few rolling hills
In full: Excellent race, well supported, well organised. I did it as part of my marathon training on a surfing weekend away in Newquay! Loved the support, changing terrains

In short: Lovely friendly race
In full: On any other day, this course has got PB potential. Pretty much flat with a couple of not too testing hills. But it was, as usual when I race, extremely warm and humid. Putting the weather aside though, this race is a little gem. The organisation was spot on, with lots of marshals around the course. Water stations were plentiful, which were much needed on a very hot day and the medal at the end paid homage to the Olympics, which was a nice touch.

In short: superb value half in cornwall and best medal outside the olympic village!
In full: very enjoyable half marathon that was well worth the trip to cornwall.very warm humid day but plenty of water stattions and scenery.mostly on trails with inclines on the road parts.pb potential could be on the cards also.great to see people cheering us on and the sight of the animals along the way and hearing the brass band playing was great to break up the run in my mind.would definately do it again and as most years received an awesome medal on a par with the olympic gold medals in size and quality.great way to celebrate the olympic year was doing the 30th year of the indian queens.highly recommended.

In short: Well organised & great value.
In full: This was a great race; excellent value and very well organised. There were cheers of encouragement at regular intervals and plenty of water stations. The run was a mix of road and bridleway, the brass band and stuffed animals along the way were a welcome diversion for a first-timer. I couldn't have chosen a better half-marathon to start with. If I am in Cornwall again at the correct time I would definitely do it again.

In short: IQ half always delivers
In full: This is my 4th time, on the third course.

Great marshalling and always feel the community is out to support the event. Record numbers this year, but the race still worked.

Loved the IQ band.

In short: Great fast course - but I'm a disappointed medal collector
In full: Loved the race and received a decent enough t-shirt, however after reading previous years' reviews about how nice their medals were I'm a bit gutted we didn't get one this year, as it was cheap to enter I would have paid a few more quid for one.
