In short: Great Race start to finish!! Great for mixed ability runners, but also has a very high standard of club runners.

In short: Well run race, PB potential, great way to finish the year
In full: Yes, the parking can be a little far from the start, and the rutted track at the end is not the best, but well organised, nice T shirt, fairly cheap and you can't find flatter!

In short: A lovely village sacrificed to be the fastest 10K course
In full: The marshalls were really nice and polite but, I believe, a trick has been missed in such lovely rural countryside. To remain a fast 10K (with mile markers!) is certainly a good tempter but seeing the countryside would have got my vote every time. I really don't understand why the run has to be down a road and back given the potential of the surrounding area.

In short: This has go to be one of the flattest courses in the country. Flat as a pancake and no wind. Excellent organisation, good t-shirt and a pb. Very happy
In full: The route is not traffic free and the only minor complaint was the van driver who decided that he had to put his foot down when passing all the runners. Not the organisers falt though!

In short: Top class event
In full: Ran like clockwork & quick results despite not using chip timing.

Brilliant course, perfect for a PB.

Only negative is it's measured in miles rather than Kms. Very unusual for a 10k and makes pacing slightly more difficult than normal.

In short: Great flat course, good organisation, super marshalling
In full: I really enjoyed this race, despite the fact that my training had gone a little awry lately! Beautifully flat course, 3 out and then 3 back (felt a touch slow when the fastest runners passed me going the other way as I passed the 2 mile mark but I carried on regardless :-) ). Marshalls were very helpful and supportive, particular thanks to the 'christmas pudding' and 'christmas cracker' marshalls at the turn point - I was feeling a little fatigued at 3 miles (that lack of training again!) and they were just the thing to make me smile and spur me on (them and Blondie blaring out Atomic on my ipod!). T-shirt was a good memento (as was the medal for the fun run race). My son and husband ran the 2k fun run and the organisation for that was also very good. A good day all round, thank you.

In short: flat, fast course - parking needs to be improved
In full: My only criticism is that the parking was poorly organised. I arrived 45 mins before the race and had to park a 15 min walk from the cricket club. also the access road to the cricket club could do with a re-surface

In short: Fast, fun and cold!
In full: Lots of loos, good atmosphere, lots of club runners. Scenery pretty, course nice and flat. Just a shame it's only and out and back! Would do it again if I was in the area.
