In short: Well organised and definately worth doing In full: Good course, very well organised, plenty of parking, not crowded at start or finish and a great set of marshalls. Same goes for the fun run which my son enjoyed thoroughly. Next year could you make it less windy please as well? Date of review: May 1, 2011

In short: Organisers are doing their best and it's all for charity! In full: In response to earlier comments - "alot of angry runners who had times scrubbed off for wearing an ipod" - this is not true. Runners are asked not to wear headphones for safety reasons but if they choose to ignore this request, the organisers cannot and DO NOT penalise them. Sorry if people don't like the medals. Sometimes "old stock" has to be used up but it has been noted! Date of review: March 7, 2011

In short: Great race. Naff medal!! In full: The 10k race is well organised. Marshalling was good and the course was scenic and more importantly flat. Definatly PB potential. Water stations also frequent, which is good. Nice little HQ with decent cake/drinks stall. The only real downside is that the medal was pure rubbish. This one went straight into the drawer. They must be able to do something better. They weren't even all the same. Some had string on and some had bad quality tape. Despite this would definatly do again. Date of review: May 2, 2010

In short: Very dissapointing medal, shame because very friendly staff and Organisers. Dissapointed. In full: Did this race last year really enjoyed it. lovely glass block finishers prize. ( i know it was a 21st anniversary ) However, this year the 10k finshers medal was really cheap with a tacky string - The fun run medal was 100 times better !! alot of dissapointed people at end of race receiving that for a £9 fee. Also alot of angry runners who had times scrubbed off for wearing an ipod, surely the organisers can get a disclamer together for people to sign saying they not covered by insurance and run at own risk. i can only see this race getting smaller numbers unless they pick there game up. will seriously consider missing this one out next year which is a shame as i really recommended it last year. In short: Brilliant race In full: A super, very well organised village race. Excellent, super-fast route through picturesque countryside. Without the wind that we had this year, then this would be pure speed. Will definitely be back, as this is a PB course without a shadow of a doubt. Thanks to the organisers for a great race.
