In short: Well organised - except for the results!
In full: Well marshalled and friendly. Finding the Leisure Centre wasn't easy - a couple of signs would help. A lot of runners ignored the advice against wearing MP3 players. However, the chip timing was wasted as there were no results posted and how anyone (apart from the obvious leaders/usual winners) would know if they had won anything was a complete mystery!

In short: Fast, flat but relatively uninspiring
In full: I enjoyed this race (my 2nd 10K). Well worth entering as it's local to me and it promised to be fast as the course is as flat as your average pancake, which is great!
It wasn't an unpleasant race by any means. The start at Worthing Leisure Centre on the track was a good one, liked the chip timing even though it disagreed with my watch, and enjoyed the run.
Most of the marshalls were great - positive encouragement, applause, which all helps, but some were deadpan. Guess it all comes down to how they feel on the day, but the fact that they gave up their evening to marshall was much appreciated. Much the same with the competition too - lacking a little in atmosphere cos there was no banter, even at the back! While it's not a race that you'd enter for the scenery, it's inoffensive and the sea-front out-and-back at least keeps you interested watching the racing snakes at the front fly past you in the opposite direction! Reckon I'll be back next year looking for another PB.
