In short: Great off-road ultra
In full: Partially beacuse of festival in village this event before, during and after has a great atmosphere.

Warm this year and I paid the price for working too hard early on. Organisers seemed to respond well to heat withand extra water station on final long drag between final manned CP and finish. Good quality and choice of snacks on route too.

Really good, varied route with some big climbs and descents. Only the last stretch from final manned CP seems to drag and go on forever.

If your doing it make a day of it and stick around for a few beers in the three pubs within 30yrds of village centre. And you must.... MUST have some fish and chips to replenish the energy stores afterwards.

In short: Every kind of terrain and one you'll always remember
In full: First go at an ultra so no expectations of time. Very tough course in places and tiring as I've never been on my feet so long. Well organised and fantastic volunteers who devote an entire day to marshalling and other duties

In short: Excellent race on a very hot day this year. But plenty of water was provided throughout the course. Well organised!
In full: Great race with excellent scenery in the North Yorkshire Moors. The course includes some decent climbs and it is all off-road. There is little potential for a PB, but this is what the road races are there for.
Very hot day this year, but plenty of water was provided in many places around the course. Well organised!
