In short: Great atmosphere, great marshalls, HUGE medal:)
In full: My first Marlow 5 - what a great race. The marshalls were fantastic especially the lady with cow bell (Jo, I think her name was) - the sound really added to the atmosphere and was an encouragement to all the runners. Thanks Jo! Huge Medal and a goodie bag with a proper running shirt (have already worn it out running!) I'll be back..............

In short: Great run, great fun!
In full: As always the Marlow 5 was run like clockwork. Congratulations and thanks to the organisers as well as the friendly and enthusiastic marshals! Great goody-bag with a proper runners t-shirt that will be worn by many. Thanks also to the locals who turned out to cheer everyone on - this really makes the atmosphere special.
All round a great morning. Big bonus was the results being on-line by lunchtime, great achievement!!

In short: superb HX, well done
In full: great value event, perfect setting, good marshalling, size choice of T-shirts right to the end, good support from the fair people of Marlow, nice medal.

Few comments / questions to the organizers: couldn't hear the tannoy at the back of the start pen; start is getting a bit crowded; is there a way to reduce the number of turns in the course?

In short: As always the Handy Cross Runners put on a wonderful event
In full: I've done this one a few times, and its always on that I look forward to on the race calendar. The organisation is always brilliant and goes like clockwork. Hats off to the Handy Cross Runners for putting this one on.

In short: Fantastic race, and a new PB for me!
In full: This is the 2nd time I have done this race and I really can't fault it. Everything went like clockwork, from the man on the PA system involving everyone in the event, the friendly and encouraging marshalls and the volunteers at the end handing out goody bags, tshirts (really good one, thanks) and medals. Thankyou to all at Handy Cross Runners and I'm already looking forward to next year.

In short: A local classic - brilliantly prganised and well supported
In full: Well done HXR! Another very well organised event topped off with a packed goody bag and a proper running t-shirt that will get used!
As always, a very good mix of runners with lots of fast local club runners and first timers.

In short: A well organised fast race as usual
In full: A good fast race, though the slight hill at 2-3 miles caught me out as usual. Organisation and marshalling was very good, the narrow start is a bit of a problem but there's not much that can be done about that. Good medal, comprehensive goody bag AND a nice bright T-shirt made it good value for money. Thanks to all at Handy Cross Runners.

In short: As good as ever
In full: Another great running of this race - the organisation was excellent, as was the goody bag, and the nice wicking shirt will be burning retinas for years to come :)

A couple of minor points - the start could do with being extended to double the length to allow people to easily slot in at the right place - this may reduce the number of slower runners right at the front which would make a big difference given the narrow path through the park. And was the drink station in a different place this year? Maybe it's just because I've got faster, but it was difficult to get to this year without a substantial slow down and stepping right off the line, and I don't remember that in previous years.

Those are just very minor points though, and did not detract from the quality of this event - well done Handy Cross Runners.
