In short: Big City Race with Big Atmosphere
In full: Forgot to rate this before now !
Organisation was good - chip timing and that worked well. Course was good - a little challenging with a strong headwind for the last 3 miles - but all part of the game. Nice big mile markers - I saw them all, and seemed to be plenty of water stations.
Party Balloon arches marked the start/finish - it was obvious if you looked - theres no way an inflatable arch would have stayed up in those winds ! Nice teeshirt too - but apparently people bandited the race and ran with no or forged numbers. Thats being sorted out for next year. I'll be back.

In short: Slightly disappointing
In full: I never even recieved a T-Shirt even though it was known how many
people would be attending the race. That was absurd!

Its the first race I have ever taken part in which didn't have a start
or finish sign or even a clock! I felt as though I was running to
nowhere...How hard is it to have a sihn put up! I even done a 10k with
less people and a lower budget that had one up.

The number of toilets where insufficient! Wasted time queing which
affected my race time.

Why on earth did the race go through an alleyway and then up a flight
of stairs!?

The hill was too close the beginning of the race and there where way
too many twists and turns.

In short: The best route you could create in Liverpool
In full: A pretty well organised race. We were a few mins late starting due to the number of runners struggling to park etc but this wouldn't haven't been a problem if it had been less breezy. A lovely route thru the parks and along the windy promenade. Plenty of water stations. Couldn't see a mile marker until mile 4 and couldn't see the finish line until I was on it so that could have been more obvious.
Overall a really nice race which I'll be back for next year.

In short: really enjoyed the event, my 2nd attempt and shaved 10 minutes off my previous time despite the headwind down the promenad . there was afew bottle necks in places, i guess that is expected with number of entries. overall really enjoyed it. looking fe

In short: Superb race, loved it.
In full: My first half & will most definitely be doing again - great flat course (apart from 1st mile) and challenging head wind along final 3 miles, bit of a bottle neck @ finish would be my only whinge, but overall; great race & organisation. Well done to organisers.
