In short: Good course for first timer
In full: This was the first time I've run this, I would probably do it again. The lack of water for the people at the back was not good, shoe bag, not another one!!
With such good race HQ , why not a finish on the track?

In short: Varied challenging race
In full: Enjoyed it - I always like seeing there are people well behind me on the loops. Toilets amazingly few for a new centre

In short: Very well organised and great marshals
In full: Good organisation and friendly/helpful marshals. Water stops were good except the first one where they struggled to keep up with demand and the one at 7.5m which had run out when I got there - and I wasn't at the back of the field. Overall I would recomend this event and will run it again next year.

In short: A very tough race, especially considering the heat.
In full: Again, well organised on a well thought-out route. Some of the scenary was excellent.

The tough hill at 8 miles really hurt, but it made completing the race that much more satisfactory.

Good to see results up within 24 hours, very refreshing.

In short: Just what I wanted
In full: After a series of shorter races this summer I wanted a practice 10 miler for a 10 miler and half marathon I've got coming up in the next couple of months - and this was ideal.

The undulations were deceptively challenging - they didn't look like much but my calves didn't like them. There were loads of marshals and I thought they were really enthusiastic. Given the heat on the day, the gap between the last two water stations was too long. I particularly liked the sponge - usually get water.

I'm glad I did this race

In short: Well organised, nice run with a good atmoshpere, although the weather was killingly humid so no chance of a decent time, or at least that's my excuse! Also I was chuffed to bits with the running bag as a momento.

In short: Why change the old course?
In full: Not sure why the old course was changed, as this one was not as nice at all. Pity it didnt finish on the track, but that was not the race organisers fault. May do this again, but probably unlikely unless the course changed.

In short: well organised, good start and finish: thanks Harlow!
In full: nice race, well planned and marshalled (thanks Marshals for doing this often thankless task!). Only quibble was the goody bag - we got a nice 'shot' glass last time I did this in 2004, so was disappointed to find just a bag of lucozade. Race venue, changing areas, parking etc were all excellent. Thanks to all at Harlow for organising this run... I'll be back!

In short: great run, water stations were haphazzard some worked, some didnt. Would have preffered a medal or something in the bag. Bit deflated when looked in and it was empty.
