In short: Good simple course and a good festive vibe in classic Somerset Levels scenery.
In full: The Good: Enjoyed this broadly flat course with a couple of mild climbs to spice it up.Good support in the village and friendly marshals. The Bad: two marshals smoking at about mile 5 (yuk! The air was foul) and no tea and cakes to buy at the end.

In short: Really good fun over Christmas !
In full: A big thank you to the organisers and all the helpers who gave up their Boxing Day for us.
A lovely village run. A great route, fantastic weather and a good mix of runners, with enough slow runners at the back to keep me company :-)
I’ll definitely be back !!!

In short: Great organisation and a scenic race too.
In full: Despite the great low key feel to it, this race was very well organised and attracts some quality runners as well as plenty in fancy dress too. Even when the village hall's toilets were overwhelmed by the volume of runners using them, the organisers rapidly opened up the toilets in the pub. Fantastic support, not just in the main square that you run through 3 times, but also out on the course

In short: brillant race supremely well organised
In full: What a great event - great course, great support and supremely well organised, couldn't fault it - at some events parking etc can be a nightmare but this was so smooth and easy - see you next year Stoke St Gregory!

In short: Beautiful (and a PB on boxing day :))
In full: Excellently marshalled, markered and signed. Drinks stop. The lap thing worked well as the crowd kept me going- good for specators too! Felt like the whole village had come to watch- very supportive. Thought it may be a PB but broke my PB by 3 minutes- alot more than I expected. I am not a fantastic runner (barely a runner, certainly not a runner in some peoples minds!) but a PB is a PB whoever you are! I'd recommend this race to everyone!!

In short: lovely race in a lovely place - great atmosphere
In full: Really enjoyed this - the two loops through the town square + the start and finish line arrangements make the crowd part of the course. The family had a great time too. Well done to the organisers.

In short: One of the best organised races you're likely to run
In full: Fantastic run which will become an annual race for me on Boxing Day. Organisation and pre race information was fantastic...Race day organisation was simple, unfussy and very effective. Course itself is quick with a couple of hills to keep things a bit interesting. Crowds through the village are fantastic and worthy of a much bigger race. One of my races of the year.
