In short: Definately a challenge with the first hill climb lasting a long time, then another hard shorter hill along with further undulations.

In short: Do not ignore the word Challenge - it is there for a reason.
In full: For those looking for a bit more of a challenge than your average 10K, then this is it. No advised for a first timer, or someone feeling a bit below par - because you hit the big hill at 2 miles........and that is a long way to go. Maybe could have done with a second water station in yesterday's heat. Running out of water at the finish and having runners wait while someone goes to get some more should NOT be repeated.

In short: Its not called a challenge for nothing.
In full: As one of the race organisers may I say it was disappointing that the event was spoilt by a runner collapsing and needing hopitalisation. We take all reasonable precautions for the safety of runners, but runners must take responsibility for their fitness to compete. We call the race a challenge because it is, especially on such a hot day as yesterday. To turn up with a hangover and ignore all your body's warning signs until you pass out is sheer stupidity, and puts the future of events such as these in jeopardy. Please be mindful of the strain you put your body under doing events, and treat it with more consideration.

In short: Hot, steep and not enough water! Apart from that I enjoyed it, thanks to organisers - some good support.

In short: 3rd time is not a charm
In full: Only 76 brave souls battled through the pouring rain to complete this year's local hill climbing event.

Well done to all that cheered us on!
