In short: A great friendly race run by generous people and a very satisfying challenge
In full: A great race in terms of cost, scenery, friendliness, for spectators, etc - the complete experience.
Undulations rule out PBs but you leave you more satisfied on completion than a flat city track.

In short: Gets better every year
In full: Is it just me or does this race get even better every year? Now with a free T-shirt included in the modest price it has to count as one of the best value for money marathons as well as one of the best organised and most friendly.
