In short: Great event
In full: Great well organised event, well supported and fantastic scenery. Not too hilly at all and very runner friendly and fairly traffic free and great paper weight type gift at the end, cant wait for next year!

In short: Another year and another brilliant day out!
In full: You cannot improve on excellence of this standard.
Bigger town and city events take note.
For £12 it was a joy knowing that most of that goes to St Michaels.
How much do BUPA rake off from the GNR and this years Great Welsh Run?
Again the organisation, marshaling and water stations was of the highest standard. There even seemed to be an increase in support as well this year.
I'll be back!!!

In short: Good atmosphere and scenery with a few more hills than I expected. Nice trophy at the end instead of the usual medal. Will be back next year.
In full: Really Great Morning out. Last minute decision to do this one and glad I did. Ran it with my son, it was his first half marathon so it was an alround memorable day.

In short: Lovely day, great race.
In full: It was a last minute decision to run this race and I’m glad I did ! Beautiful scenery, well organised and a great atmosphere. It’s the hilliest half I’ve run but was still happy with my time. The memento at the end was lovely too.

In short: Well organised, great athmosphere. A rewarding race over a challenging course
In full: Glad I took a last minute decision to do this - I'll be back for more next year. First impression this a much overlooked event which can only go from strength to strength - big thanks to those who organised and supported

The course a little hillier than I'd been told - but doable none the less. Probably the liveliest finish, and certainly the nicest trinket for finishers, I've ever received in 100+ races

Only niggle maybe the traffic - several sections involved some dodgy road sharing with cars, most of the drivers very thoughtful/patient, but some others less so. An earlier start (9.30 or 10.00am ?) might alleviate this and the inevitable risk presented to those taking part. Better still, maybe some tweaking of the course ? Am sure such things have been considered (the race, as said, seems very well organised)

Combining the HM race with both an optional relay event covering the same course and fun runs for younger runners seemed to work really very well - "races within a race" etc.

In short: Once again a great race for a great cause!
In full: This race is understandably popular but should be really big - excellent atmosphere from start to after finish (thanks to the DJ and the excellent venue at the Leisure Centre and racecourse, the sports masseurs, the warm-up lady and the excellent marshalls)and yet again a glorious, sunny morning with a cooling breeze at the tops of the several hills and great views, its also relatively car free and with plenty of strong support from the roadside all route long. Its not a flat course but the hills arent too bad and the field comprises a healthy mix of new runners, joggers, club runners and fast racers so there is something in this race for everyone.

In short: Oh wow !!!
In full: Yet again Hereford excels itself and produces the most glorious weather.
The race itself is just about the best in the country for me in that there are no "stars","celebs" and prima donnas.
Just good honset hard running club runners and some very good beginers who are not afarid of the challenge that Hereford presents.
It rates way above the GNR and Bath Half for well everything really (and I enjoy those two very much as well).
My son was very happy with his psoition this year (26th) in a time of 1hr 30m 20 s and gained revenge for me beating him last year (this time I was 76th in 1hr 40m 59s).
A big big thankyou again to all involved in this event (the Brownies exceeled their high standards at the water stations-thanks for the cheers and clapping girls!!!)
I'll see you all next year!!

In short: Good atmosphere at the start and lots of encouragement
In full: Music at the start gets you going. The route was plesant with the start having a gradual incline for the first 2 miles.A rather hot day and the water tables were really welcome.Lots of encouragement along the way which helps to motivate the lets. Thanks to all of you out there. One downer was that by the time I finished in 2h21 there were no more T shirts, however did obtain a certificate. I would do it again with a PB on the cards.
