In short: Hope it's still going next year!
In full: Definitely worth braving the rainy weather for this one. Really hope it's on again this year, can't understand why so few do it-yes there are crazy uphills, and Pennyquick Hill is a killer, but they are more than made up for by the scenery, the downhills and the amazing marshalls (thanks for the jellybabies!)

In short: Wonderful race. Last mile is a killer. Very wet this year.
In full: This is a great race. I cannot understand why thousands do the Bath half marathon on the depressing lower Bristol Road and here is a race that has the hills and countryside around that make Bath so special, yet only 80 of us ran it? The weather this year was ideal for ducks and hill runners, very wet. Thanks to the marshalls and organisers for another great event. Please dont just judge the success of the race by the number of entrants. This is a real club runners race and is to be praised for it. Thank you.

In short: Very tough indeed!
In full: Another brilliantly organised event! I really love this race despite it being bloody hard. Can't wait for next year although could do without the bright sunshine and sunburn tbh!!

In short: Tough but very rewarding - a great race, by a great club, with the best cake + tea in town awaiting at the finish.
In full: A last minute decision over breakfast for me to enter this (I hate hills !) but so glad I did.

"Challenging" but hugely rewarding. Will be back next year, hopefully with more club mates from Les C (what better way to prepare for the Welsh Castles Relay in 2 weeks time ?)

This is the 30th time this race been run - can only get bigger and bigger for the next 30 years. Congrats Bath RC, you should be very proud. Probably the best marshalled race I've ever done - but more sponge cake next year please !

GE + LS - you done good today !!

In short: Plenty of hills with the best saved until nearly the end.
In full: Interesting course, good value for money, friendly and helpful marshalls, excellent facilities, although not one for beginners if you expect big supporting crowds (unless you include horses and cows).

In short: so tough I was glad to see the cemetery gates!
In full: a real tough one- as I'd wanted- and had I had any breath left after the mile 9 climb, I would've breathed a sigh of relief as I drew level with the cemetery gates (which marked the summit of the last hill). Big thanks to all the super friendly marshals for supporting a tortoise among the many hares on the course!

In short: The name - Hilly 10 - should give it away - a testing 1om on the lanes around the south of Bath. Good atmosphere, big hill at 9m!
