In short: highly enjoyable run over an "odd" distance of 6km
In full: Quote someone else at the finish " just how do they find so many hills in six k ?"
well, it's not that bad, but there are a few hills to play with. The muddy bit was dry this year, scenery + organisation great as ever, highly enjoyable run over an "odd" distance

In short: Scenery & hills at your own pace
In full: I well organsied and very friendly race in a beautiful area of the country. There was a good mix of abilities with club runners setting a blistering pace and fun runners making up the pack. Good course, mostly road with a challenging steep gravel path hill after the first 1k, with some sharp up and downs to keep the heart pumping and the legs working. It was a nice race to come back to since I strained my left hamstring and was pleased with a time of 25.32. Will do this one again.

In short: A challenging 6k with nice views & good atmosphere
In full: This course features a longish section of incline early on (roughly between 1 & 2 kms) which novices like me found to be a serious struggle! Small field of different standard runners, kids too. Friendly race, will practice hill running before I attempt next time. Good organisation.
