In short: Great race - a bit hot though this year!
In full: I ran this last year when it was cold and wet and dreary and managed my 2nd best ever 10k time. This year it started an hour earlier which was good as it was warm. The heat eventually got tome and my legs tied up a bit, so I walked through the water station and lost 10-15 seconds, but managed a new second best-ever 10k time. Rather stupidly I missed the timing mats at the beginning so ended up with a gun time rather than a chip time but I was glad to get an official time and it was only about 10 seconds out. There were enough loos and the marshals were really encouraging. Well done RRR - will be back again next year.

In short: Summertime fun in the sun!..
In full: A sunny day at long last. It may have been a little warm for running, or a shock to the system but can't complain as I managed to just get a PB by a few seconds. The race was well organised and really enjoyed my first outing at Shinfield 10K. It had a nice feel to it, with the Mayday Fete and the Brass Band; but what made the event for us was the children's races, which made a morning of it instead of rushing off after the run was done. Well done RRR, we'll be back next year.

In short: Quick and scenic in places
In full: Definitely a good race to do if you want to see what sort of time you're capable of on the day! A nice mix of countryside and housing on the route which splits up distance very well... the marshals and spectators are very supportive. From the start it quite quickly opens up on to the open road so the usual race start congestion quickly dissipates

In short: A well designed course with great organisation
In full: It rained and yet it was still wonderful. A quick course that was obviously designed by a running club as the ups were gradual and the downs encouraging. Very well organised, lovely tea and cake at the end and lots of loos available. A good turn out and wide field makes this a good one for beginners. What more can we ask for?... well some sunshine for next year please.

In short: As always very well organised by RRR. I love this race as it statrs my 10k season.
In full: I did not mind the drizzle and not cold once you got moving. I always just feel sorry for the fete organisers as most times I have run here it rains.

Good course and fast finish over the last 1K. I will be back next year and expect RRR to sort the rain out!

In short: Excellent race . Well organised and good support despite the rain
In full: A good course with one or two hills but flat enough for PB territory. Well organised with very friendly marshalls and plenty of support out throughout the course.

In short: Well organised, flat-ish, fast race-well done RRR!
In full: This was my 3rd time at Shinfield and my 1st time over the changed course. I much prefer this course now, scenic and with no scary climbs. Well organised and cheerfully marshalled, thanks to all involved in such cold, damp conditions.Mugs? Medals? I'm just glad to finish!
