In short: Great race if you like hills and stunning views!
In full: Mixture of on and off road, huge hill at the start and tough last half km but otherwise not too bad. Lots of downhill sections. Worth running just for the amazing views.

In short: Excellent run on the edge of Salisbury Plain
In full: Good steady climb at the start and then mostly downhill apart from a little sting in the tail. Well organised, well marshalled a great mug at the finish with good food and good beer in the adjacent pub - what all runs should be

In short: Fantastic race, great organisation.
In full: Hats off the organisers of this great race. I entered on the day and for £8 (cheaper in advance) I got one of the best organised, friendly and challenging races I have run..including a free pint and a momento mug - hand made by a potter..!

This was my first win, nice prize giving ceremony where I was awarded my trophy by amd paralympic silver medalist..tough course with very windy conditions but if you take the first 2k steady you'll enjoy this race.

I will spread the word more widely next year as this race deserves at least 5 times the 120 who entered this year. Thanks and well done to thee organsiers.

In short: Hardest first 2k I've ever run!
In full: I went to get a bacon butty, an hour before the race, and the lady serving said that I would be wasting my money, as I would throw up before I got to the top of the hill.

I'm just glad that I took her advice ! Very steep, and long hill at the start, but worth the views at the top..

Well organised race, although probably not one for a first timer as very hilly and demanding.

Nice T shirt (bit on the large side), and hand made mug.

I was aiming to get under 1 hour, official time 1.00.01.....

Will be back next year.
