In short: Great event - well done guys!
In full: Really well run event on a great course. Not as hilly as you might think, but with a decent drag up at around 9 miles to wake you up! More people should do this - if you can handle a half-marathon, you'd probably be able manage this course (last few miles are downhill) and it's much more memorable than the usual tarmac trudge.

In short: A proper race with picture postcard views
In full: Congrats to everyone who competed the race. Well done to the marshalls, the Police and the drivers of the buses. Great weather, smooth organisation and an 'Italian Job' style bus ride to the start - see you next year !!!!!

In full: A lovely friendly race with superb views - we had beautiful weather this year which obviously helped, would definitely be a lot more of a challenge in the mud.
No doubt as to the route, plenty tape and friendly marshalls.
Cake at the end too.
The only point I would make is if you get even vaguely travel sick, make your own way to the start (I got hubby to drop me off there)as I am told the coach ride is tortuous! Going on your own also means you get your pick of the bushes for a loo stop before the masses arrive by bus :)
Overall, lovely run and I look forward to it again next year.
P.s., organisers.....an optional (extras cost) t-shirt would be nice for those of us who are delighted just to get round....I wasn't last though :)

In short: great 16 mile race
In full: hot and dry this year - this does not suit me - only minor gripe is that the water cups were only half full leading to de-hydration! hit the wall at 14.75 miles - not fun! great cakes at the end and many thanks to the couple of runners who bought me a couple of slices of cake before I collapsed in a heap! hopefully will be cold and wet next year!!

In short: A fantastic race, well worth a journey and deserves wider support
In full: Thank you to all concerned for faultless organisation, camarederie, and cakes! I'm sure it helped that it was a glorious day but this was such a lovely run. I've now almost forgotten the pain of the hills that I failed to conquer so I can now say I'd love to have another go.
