In short: Superb value, well organised and great training run for London.
In full: Really enjoyable course (apart form the uphill at the end of the 6 mile loop!), well organised, enthusiastic marshalls, superb value for money and a really pleasing time. Would recommend it to anyone training for London.

In short: Well organised with great marshalls good prep for London
In full: Thank you so much. The orange squash was appreciated. The water station at about 12 miles was very funny asking us to have the correct change ready. I hurt yesterday but am very proud of myself today. Special thanks to Brian for his help

In short: Great for the longest run before the Marathon.
In full: A pretty bleak start on a grey misty morning when the clocks had gone forward! But it only got better and a turned into a well organised race through pleasant country lanes on a not too testing route. If you have to go out and run 21 miles before the marathon, I can't think of a better way of doing it than in the company of a few like minded souls.

In short: Tiring run - the early start (clocks forward an hour) seriously upset my bodyclock !
In full: Nice enough run, very friendly and well organised. Course undulates a bit and although I entered the 21 pulled out at 15 as I was just too tired to complete the full distance. A nice touch though because there appears to be capacity to 'switch' events depending on how things are going. Still got a finishers medal etc and a 'decent' 15 miles training run.

In short: Friendly and challenging marathon training run
In full:
This is a very well organised and very friendly run. As everyone else has said the marshalls are great as are the 'water stop crews'-very, very encouraging which makes up for the quiet stretches of country road. I wanted to give up after half a mile as I felt like **** so special thanks to Mary from Worthing who convinced me to carry on for the full monty 21 miles-her support was typical of most of the other runners who had a 'we are all in it together' supportive outlook. Not sure I'll be back next year though-this marathon running lark is way too tough!

In short: Very friendly race
In full: Very friendly since most people preapring for marathon - most chatting I have come across in a race! Scenic, flat course, just slight bump near end. Marshalls very supportive good water/squash stations.
End a bit tight and rushed. Run-off space required.

In short: Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
In full: Lots of support and encouragement from passers-by, the marshalls and 'water station operatives' were very friendly and the route was scenic and mainly flat.

In short: The best value race ever
In full: Excellent, low-key organisation. Positively uplifting absence of corporate sponsorship!
Q. how does a non-sponsored event offer such excellent value, compared with the mega-Corp races, costing 5x as much?
