In full: Found it very tough today in the heat, and expected a quicker time, but you take it as it comes..a challenging course, felt harder due to the heat,i think everyone who completed today deserves a well done.

In short: Faultless organisation but the late start meant it was too hot for me
In full: I agree with some of the other comments about the 11 o'clock start - but I assume that there are good reasons for the start time.

First class organisation with excellent, enthusiastic marshals and support on the course. We dropped out due to the heat at 2.5 miles, started walking back and then thought s** it and rejoined. walked/Ran back to the finish in a painfully slow time. But at elast we did it.

In short: Friendly, well organised race.
In full: 11.00 start made it tough on a very hot day.

In short: Very well organised & marshalled, some long slopes & very hot!
In full: Once of the best organised runs in Essex, well marshalled and good crowds. Some long climbs and declines, but once you get away from the main roads its a nice run. Obviously very hot this year (though I've sat in a car staring at cold rain in previous years), but 11am seems a late start, and a hostage for a day like today. I realise there are disbenefits, but an earlier start could also reduce the traffic which is qute heavy on some of the main roads.

In short: Very hot!
In full: A great race but its very challenging.
The long roads which are uphill then downhill for the first half can be hard work. The sun will bear down on you as its a very exposed course. Would have done with some showers on the course. As ever, its well organised and marshalled. Well done on the organisers clampdown on ipods with the start banner clearly stating it. Look forward to next year. Hopefully not as hot.

In short: Fabulous organisation. Excellent marshalls.
In full: Some trying hills but super friendly marshalls to help you round. Not likely to get a personal best but worth the trip for the sense of achievement (especially if you're a local).
