In short: Nice flat course
In full: Shame about the bikey thing getting in the way and signage to the start when I got to bute park. But nice race overall.

In short: Fast and flat, I disagree that the twists influenced pb potential

In short: Excellent for PB, I got mine here
In full: I would say that this would have been a better race for a lot of people if they had sorted the runners in to under 1 hour/ over 1 hour sections. I was really hemmed in for the first 2km by slower runners and the rather narrow paths at times. Toilets could have been a lot better. All that said it was a great race, nice people and would like to thank the runner that paced me the last 5 km so much so that I got a new PB. Thank you! Will be back next year.

In short: Nice setting but please more loos!
In full: I travelled quite a distance for this run and apart from (only) injuring my achilles and having to hobble in from 6k; was very pleased with the overall organisation and venue. Good fields for both 5k and 10k but the toilets facilities for both men and women were woefully inadequate (some being locked up 20 mins before start) Apart from this well done to all

In short: Gentle spring morning excursion, no real difficult points
In full: For my first race I wasn't sure what to be expecting, overall it seemed well organised, although at one or two points the Marshalls seemed a bit thin on the ground or just plain useless. Allowing a tandem pedalo to go across a narrow bridge against the flow of the runners was just plain dangerous both for the runners and the people in the pedalo. Could do with being better advertised in the local area, I'm sure the locals would've been a bit more forgiving if they'd been prepared for the sheer number of people who took up some of the roads inside the park, rather than screaming out of their car windows in astonishment. Plan to be back next year though

In short: saw it all in this race - guy with the chicken outfit, little chap with the long white ruby socks and the big fella with his hair tied in a bob to name but a few!
In full: Fantastic location - miles better than the Swansea's on all counts.
Only problem was being held back at the start by some 'lower' quality runners otherwise would have set new PB!
