In short: Nice run in the woods with cake!
In full: This is a lovely, low key run around the Army Training land near Longmoor. The course was challenging and I soon discovered that I don't have the appropriate kit for very cold weather running! There were lots of 'real runners' but us slow coaches at the back were welcomed too. Would certainly do it again and the cake at the end was fab!!!!

In short: Excellent, challenging cross country event
In full: A fabulous little cross country run set in woods off the A3 near Petersfield. Really well organised with plenty of water and clear markings around the 13 mile route. A great way to start the year (next year make it 13.1 as it looks better as a half marathon :-) Thanks all.

In short: Superb - who would choose to race on roads when you can run through forests and along tracks and trails?
In full: Fortunately I was reminded about this event just before I intended entering Tadworth 10. The latter is a good event but give me off road anyday. Shame there were so few hardy characters but the start was rather narrow so the 100 limit was an accurate estimate. The sun shone on us and the puddles weren/t too big and the flapjack afterwards was enormous, much more edible than a t-shirt or medal!.

In short: Hardest thing I've done yet but feels like a huge achievement
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this one (can say that now it's over!). Good course layout, very tough if you're not used to these distances, and friendly organisation.

In short: Tough but doable for a beginner if not worried about time!
