In short: The clue is in the name!
In full: You need to like hills for this one - it's brutal! Great challenge though, even if I did have to walk some of it, and the view from the top is fantastic!

In short: Really fun, really friendly race - definitely worth going! Bit hellish but beer at the end makes it all seem worth it

In short: amazing
In full: This race is culty, not really advertised but involves a mile of pretty much constant climbing. I'm a sub 5min miler on track and ran 8:16 to come 2nd so this gives an idea of its toughness. You get to jog/walk the oourse to get to the bottom of the hill from Race HQ/Pub and it gets the nerves flowing. I was heavy legged and puffing badly at the end but a cold beer awaits you at the end. I would do this race again if I lived closer- 400 mile round trip!

In short: you get to run down the hill for a warm up but this just kills the calf muscles
In full: A brilliant race with loads of the fairer sex rising to the challenge.
Thoroughly enjoyed it although I had to admit defeat and walk between 1/2 mile til the 3/4 mile mark... it started to ease off thenb for the final 1/4.....
A waiting lager helped the recovery. This would suit all as its so much fun and it even seems to cause problems for the very fit so everyone is in the same boat. Congratulations to the organisers for another great race

In short: It goes up, and then up some more... not done with that, it keeps on going up!!
In full: What a brilliant event:) Rather than a hilly race, this event is just the buisness end of hilly! No nonsense, just straight up from the go and finishes after 1 mile when the hill reduces to a normal incline!

Marked out every quarter mile, with water and beer waiting at the end:))

In short: A mile long and the Daddy of Killer Hills, Max your Heart Rate out Here !
In full: Very very steep and marked out in quarter miles. Absolutley exhausting but a very different and unique challenge. Water at the finish and an evening in the pub awaits.
