In short: Worth The Early Start
In full: Great race and really enjoyed it, had been over 12 months since my last 10k and knocked over 5 mins off my PB.

In short: Lovely flat run through country lanes. Weather was warm (described as hot by some). Very enjoyable.
In full: My first 10K - ran with my daughter who had a disappointing run in the Manchester 10K. This was a confidence booster due to the virtually flat course and the run through the countryside. My daughter knocked 7 mins off her Manchester time.
Note: Described as a 1 lap race but is actually 2 laps.

In short: A quick course with minimal hills. If you're primed, very good PB potential, (I git mine!)
In full: Excellent run, which unlike my recent races also had the weather. Definitely worth getting out of bed for, even had sandwiches and cakes at the finish.
Thank you to all the team that made it worthwhile.
(and for a worthy cause!)

In short: Really well organised - loved the course but the heat was a killer! What about a 10am start next time?

In short: As long as you dont get dizzy doing two laps its a great event
In full: A although shame to the runners at the in the middle of the pack at the start who talked over the safety intro. Not that there was that much traffic, any cars daring to use the route tended to crawl behind runners and we largely had the route to ourselves.
First time I'd done a multi lap race and sometimes the distance markers were a little confusing. If you arrive late for the race in the future dont plan on getting any where near the official parking but there is plenty elsewhere in the village. Well signposted from miles around so easy to find, marshalling was spot on all round. This should be a regular for any n/w runners diary.

In short: Another great race from Ron & his team.
In full: Was using this as a speed session for the Langdale race in 2 weeks, but knocked a min off my 10k PB, very happy! Great course, the miles fly by. Everybody very friendly, I just kept my head down & went for it, so apologies to anybody trying to engage in conversation. Ron is a legend in these parts & once again provided a first class race. Thanks to Ron & his large team of marshalls. Had a big smile on my face all day only 45:30 but well chuffed.
