In short: A hidden gem
In full: I was plesantly surprised to find this face as i live close by. thoroughly enjoyed the race. only minus was the awfully strong wind at the airfield that hampered my PB. oh well, there is always next year!

In full: A very warm and welcoming event. It was our first race, we may have been slow but enjoyed it. We will be back next year.

In short: Friendly atmosphere, nice course, way too windy
In full: Nice pack start with a friendly atmosphere and well marshalled keeping the traffic back, good run upto the airfield and back but the airfield never ends and with a head wind both ways making it hard going. Great finish with spectators and goody bag, see you next year

In short: Tough course in 2010 perhaps due to temprature
In full: I did this course in 2009 and it was easy. 2010 was tough. Perhaps this was due to hot temperature and wind. Overall I was 1.minute 20 seconds slower than last year. I can’t explain it despite all my training, maybe I did more hill training last year. I will be back next year avenge this time.

In short: Windy on the airfield - excellent goodies at the end
In full: Done this litte fella twice now and both times it's been a bit of a slog on the windy airfield which seems to go on for quite a while to say the least. Not particularly hilly so on a calm day it'd be a pretty quick course. Nice amount of goodies on offer at the finish which was nice.

In short: bit windy!
In full: Enjoyable race, but the wind on the airfield was a bit punishing - how did it turn round with the runners to be a head wind all the way??? Nice touch at the end giving bottle of water and banana to all runners as well as a mug. Well done to organisers for getting results up so quickly.

In short: Despite the weather, I loved it!
In full: The airfield may not be everyone's 'cup of tea' but it particularly worked for me. I am never fussed with scenery anyway as I spend much of my time looking at the ground, but the good thing about the airfield was that I could see how far I had to go and could work out how many people were in front and behind me when we doubled back on ourselves. I am so glad that their was chip timing start to finish as I actually needed a race to calculate my correct score for my club running record (my wath is not enough), I always stay at the back when starting so usually takes sometime to cross the starting line so I have had several inaccurate times in the past. I think that I may have prefered a medal but the mug will be useful for my early morning coffee. The collection of race packs ran smoothly. I will definately do this one again and I do not often say that!

In short: Well Organised. Very expensive just for a mug ?? Nice run out.
In full: Was advised no Affliated discount on day so entry was £12 the most this year i have paid for a 10k. Enjoyed the course and was a change to run in a airfield. Very well organised BUT was very very disappointed in the end just receiving a mug. i have done 3 10k this year all under £10 with a nice piece of glassware. Im old school i enjoy a medal or a small trophy / glassware.
I will do again if price is looked at. Maybe get rid of the Chip timing reduce the costs. 90% of people were still self timimg or wearing Garmins.
