In short: Fast course, well organised, well supported In full: Very flat course. Psychologically good to turn for home at 5.5km then have a straight line along the seafront to the finish. Really well supported with crowds all the way. Very well organised start. Fish & chips and ice cream on the beach afterwards - perfect. Date of review: May 20, 2014
In short: FAST, FLAT & FUN In full: The organisation was excellent with a brilliant pre-race compare. The course is flat and fast and the local support was superb (people outside their houses with hose pipes, jelly babies and drinks). Well done to everyone in the town for their support. Easy to find, easy to leave and well marshaled all the way round. Perfect for an elite runner & a large enough field for a new comer to feel welcome. Will definitely return next year. In short: Great PB potential in the right weather In full: Enjoyed this. The course is almost completely flat (very PB/beginner friendly) and the start was well marshalled. Lovely stretch along the Bognor promenade for the first few k and then the last 4k, which was thankfully not windy this year. Good support from the locals too, especially at the end. (Shame there was no goody bag this year though! No repeat of the strange plastic dumbells from Fitness first this year...) Date of review: May 19, 2013
In short: Very good on every level In full: Good support all round the course. organised very well. no problem getting a replacement number when mine did not arrive in the post. Thanks to all concerned a really good experience with a PB to boot. Could be hard if the wind along the front was stronger Date of review: May 21, 2011
In short: Another very well organised and good race In full: This has always been well organised and on a calm nice day could be PB potential.
This year I was one of the Tone Zone pacing team (45 mins - actually came in at 45.27) and really enjoyed. It was rather busy for the first 1km but after that it was fine. Hopefully we helped a few get some PB's (Well done Mad Marky Mark below).
For the beginner this race is perfect. Well organised and lots of support all the way round to keep you going when things get tough. Date of review: May 19, 2011
