In short: A very pleasant half marathon, well done Ackworth Road Runners
In full: Encouraging marshalls, plenty of drinks and a nice wet sponge just when it was needed. Quite an undulating course, but lovely scenery and well worth doing.
Even got a PB despite bad foot!, only one problem, getting out of car park, too tired to push car out of mud after 13 miles but plenty of help.

In short: Quite a good run, well organised, but nothing special
In full: A good training run but seemed to lack anything to inspire. I enjoyed doing part of the norton 9 in reverse and thought the climb at 12 to 12.5 was a bit harsh. Well marshalled and supported on a bit of a grotty day.

In short: A good all round race. The inclines presented achallenge. Organisation just right.
In full: First time I have done this race. As a more steady runner it was challenge on the inclines but great achievement to have completed it. Marsahlling was excellent and potential road hazards maintained very safely until ALL runners had passed through. Water and energy drinks provision excellent. The sponges were a very good idea and would have been good at earlier stations so could have been re filled or dropped off.

In short: Second time ran - very professional set up.
In full: Maintains a great balance - organisation excellent, whilst staying very welcoming. Route is a favourite with some smaller climbs keeping it interesting.

In short: Nice course, challenging in parts
In full: First time I've done this race, and it was very enjoyable - it was a little hilly, not as much as I thought it would be but enough to minimise the chances of a PB if you're a regular half marathon competitor.

Marshalls were excellent, very friendly and encouraging. Recommended.
