In short: Good atmostphere, and very quick !
In full: Really enjoyed this race, felt like a small club run with the pretty informal start, and friendly organisers. Everyone has said it, but if you wanna blow your PB away, you can do it here ! I knocked nearly 2 mins off my previous PB - and it was blooming hot too ! V Good T Shirt in the goodie bag too - worth the entrance money alone ! Highly recommended.

In short: Fast, very flat , friendly and well-organised.
In full: Better than average T shirts and free swim at leisure centre included. Results posted at HQ before I left - nice touch.

I didn't get a PB, but very close. This is most def a PB course however. You could not get much flatter.

Only real negative point was a potential bottlneck quite near the start on a footpath -one of those zig-zag barriers to stop bikes etc getting through

In short: Enjoyable local race with nice flat course
In full: As I live local this race is always something I wanted to do and I really enjoyed it.

However, knowing staines very well I think it is a shame that the course can't utilise the river and tow path. (which it runs parallel to) This is my normal training route and its fantastic. It would elevate the event a fair bit.

In short: Flat as a pancake, but needs a more exciting filling
In full: It's pretty fast, but lacking in character - a bit like Staines itself really. No real atmosphere to speak of; most people turned up and left almost as soon as they'd finished. Good run for getting a good time, though.

In short: Good Course, Good Organisation, Good Race
In full: Third time I've done this since its reinstatement, and this was the smoothest so far. Apart from the bottleneck after about 100 yards which they can do nothing about short of moving the start onto a main road (or running the course backwards perhaps), this is an excellent course and the organisation and marshalling first class. No complaints at all, except missing my PB by 4 seconds because it was so hot! I'll be back - hopefully we'll get a cool one next year.

In short: Very good organisation
In full: Not the most scenic of places (unfortunately thats the nature of the beast) but what it lacks in scenery it makes up for in PB potenetial. Dead flat and if you didn't get caught up too much in the first bottleneck a great PB potential race.

In short: A good first race for me although the atmosphere was a bit lacking. Long straight roads a bit boring but lovely flat course

In short: Well organised & enjoyable.
In full: V. well organised, lucky to get a PB here due to the bottleneck in the first 400m. I had lost 34s on my target time once I could eventually stretch my legs. Flat & fast course, good weather and well marshalled.

In short: Fast and friendly
In full: Early morning start on busy A-roads. Well marshalled and nice to see a good police turnout too. Very well marked out course including timed boards at the start so you knew where to stand. Enjoyed this race.
