In short: Great scenery and organisation but those down-hills were steep!!
In full: Worth coming back for a visit to my old home town from Portsmouth! Spent most of my youth riding horses around those lanes so running them was a bit tougher!! Good PB for me though - 1.35 so i was really pleased with my run. Helped having a route that I knew really well, esp when those hills were looming!

In short: Woooo - hills, but strangely enjoyable :p
In full: Yey, I got a PB & what lovely scenery :) It was a strange day; if felt really quite hot and sunny, while at the same time there was quite a cold wind. There were quite a few hills, but they were strangely enjoyable and made things interesting. The only thing I struggled with largely was the fact that my stomach didn't feel its best from about 5 miles in (the hills prob didn't make it any better haha) & I kept wondering, Mmmm I wonder if there is a toilet anywhere...still I survived...momentary discomfort and all that :p

Would love to do it again.

In short: those hills never end!
In full: Scenic run around the country lanes around Uttoxeter. Well marshalled and the local cubs and scouts did a great job on the 4 water stations. A very warm day that made me suffer. Not sure if i will do it again, but only because i did not enjoy all those hills.

In short: A good route around the coutry on minor roads, with hills to stay interesting!
In full: A pleasent wander around Uttoxeter's countryside on minor roads. The course has several hills of which the ascents are long and the descents are shorter and steeper! Get some hill training in and you'll love it. A good, small, "community feel" race. I've not been running that long and I beat my PB - ace!!

In short: First time at Uttoxeter - hopefully, not my last.
In full: The glorious weather and views really made this race for me. I found the hills a challenge, but they just added to the enjoyment (and, yes, I did have to walk up one!). Marshalling, organisation and facilities excellent.
