In short: A real challenge, but not as gruesome as it first looks.
In full: A real challenge, but not as gruesome as it first looks. Having it start and finish at the local leisure centre is a great idea. Locals come out to cheer us along. Not the prettiest part of the universe, but what the heck. Shame it's under threat because of the over protective local authority. Many thanks to Chris, Tim and the Somer team.

In short: Wonderful! I ran the 10K (Same comment as 2007!!)
In full: I just LOVE this 10K - so hands OFF B&NES Council. Well, done all concerned. Personally, everything went well; I breezed up Silver St hill and knocked nearly a min off my PB. The weather was utterly perfect, as was all the organisation, stewards, mementoes, etc. A lovely event.

In short: Tough parts make this a challenge. Good marshalling. Worth the trip.

In short: Excellent Marshalling
In full: Only black mark was the lack of toilet facilites, otherwise a great race, an excellent memento on a varied route through town and countryside. The cheering marshals made it extra special.

In short: good summer Sunday morning work out
In full: challenging course, well marshalled, hope it survives council meddling to happen again next year.

In short: Great friendly event with slight incline on both laps!
In full: Lets hope the Council's restrictions don't kill off a great local event for the community. Surprisingly quick course despite the hill that has to be climbed twice! Well-run event with nice scenery, long may it continue.

In short: Very well organised event.
In full: I hope that BANES council stop placing obstacles in the way of a very well organised event, so that it can go ahead in 2009.

In short: A tough hilly course to really test the legs and was a great change from over subscribed flat Bristol Half. Thanks to the marshals who there were plenty of, and the comedy speech of the race director giving the council the slating they deserve! I hop

In short: Another great Miner!
In full: Excellent all round event. If, and I do say if, I had to find fault it would be that there was a shortage on marshals telling people where the overflow carpark is. Seriously I cannot find fault other than that. Do the Miner!
