In short: Fantastic day out, and though a PB was not on the cards, the beautiful scenery more than made up for it.... and that's coming from someone who lives in Scotland and is used to beautiful scenery!!

In short: Unpressurised romp through the woods and hills.
In full: Thoroughly recommend this as a run for those who like the picturesque and the quirky. Some good testing hills and an authentic village atmosphere. Great fun. There must be wonderful 1/2 marathon potential in this area.
