In short: Starting and finishing in the Stadium makes this one special
In full: Great weather which always helps. Not too busy as lots of folk are concentrating on London right now. Three laps, you knew what was coming but running on the track made this fun. Good for spectators who saw runners throughout the race. I got a PB and live in Sheffield so really pleased!

In short: It was nice running around the stadium, pretending to be a real athlete!
In full: Perfect weather! Not a big fan of 3 laps but it was quite nippy inspite of the route being tightly coiled around the stadium`s immediate vacinity.

In short: A good race, moderatly well organised, would definatly do it again!!
In full: This was the first race i've done and would will be doing it again next year!!
It was a good race, the organisation of the start was a bit poor, they didn't tell we were starting on the 1500 meter start till about 5 minutes before... The water stations we well placed but it wasn't the day to be needing water.
I read before doing it that it wasn't a flat course, don't listen to that, for sheffield it was flat the hills there (of which there were only two each lap) were really short and not very steep!!
The atmosphere was good and there was a good spread of running abilities so anyone could have taken part...
It was a very enjoyable race and will be doing it again next year when i will bear my brother (he beat me by two seconds, swine!!)

In short: Too many fun runners
In full: Three laps, a narrow course and a lot of ladies (sorry but it's true) out for a natter = frustrating race. Two short sharp climbs as well, not pb material.

In short: Good no frills race to start the year with.
In full: Just want to say thanks to the organisers for going with the mug and not the orange baseball cap as last year ;o) Race seemed to go smoothly and results were on-line by the time I got home. Only niggles would be having to do the same 3 laps, no K markers and sympathy for the speedy people having to dodge us mere mortals, but all in all a good race. Be good to see more races throughout the year in Sheffield.
