In short: Still the best, most friendly half marathon I know. Recommended if you don't mind hills.
In full: Not one for PBs. Very hilly! It's on road the whole way, but good scenery. And a really fantastic atmosphere, friendly club (Hogweeds) massages pre and post race. Highly recommended.

Small too - 300 maximum. It'll likely sell out in advance for 2008 - be warned.

In short: Tough hills in a great landscape with super support
In full: First time I've ever run round a race with someone -- my sister and I did it together. Great fun to race in company. Wonderful organization and super support and marshalls round the course. It's my sister's local half marathon so we'll be back to break the 2 hour barrier next year -- our 2 hours and 1 minutes was harsh!!

In short: Surely this must be the hardest half marathon in England.
In full: Will definitley be back next year. Nice marshalls and great support on the way round. Massage at the beginning and at the end of the race was very good. Followed by lovely tea and cakes.

In short: Is this the toughest road 1/2 in the country?
In full: Back next year to acheive a course PB. Races don't get any better than this.

In short: If you pick one half marathon to run in March - make it this one!
In full: Well done Hogweeds, a great race, in great scenery with great organisation! Ok, it may be hilly, but the encouragement of the marshalls, the atmosphere and the sense of achievement at the end make it well worth the effort!
