In short: Pure adrenalin
In full: My partner ran the race with me with a broken toe. Was a really good day and would love to do it again!

In short: Start organisation we not very good. Otherwise well organised.
In full: The new start formation was poorly organised. Access to the start area for friends and family was also poor. Parking was very bad (but always in winchester). Marshalls were helpfull and encouraging. Water station ran out of water. Needs improvement but would probably go back next year.

In short: A good challenging race for my first time, really enjoyed. The hills were a good test and without would be a tad dull.

In short: Undulating and fun course!
In full: The race states before you sign-up that it is a hilly race, so no surprises there, I enjoyed it and thought that the organisation was good, I didn't mind the muddy track at the start/finish as you kind of expect it in February.

I enjoyed the race and liked my medal - plus I got a PB despite the hills - so have clouded judgement!

In short: Very undulating, quite steep in places but good for building endurance
In full: Running a very muddy lap of football club at the start not fun, ending with another lap to make up distance very demotivating. Might return but not fantastic and difficult to get parking close to race start.

In short: Undulating, oh yes!
In full: Saying this race is undulating is like saying the sea is a bit wet! However, if you are aware of this and don't mind hills (one of which is a mile long!) then this is a great race.
Just needed a little bit more thought at the start, but good attempt to split runners by predicted ability. Other than that it was well organised and well run. The mud was not all that bad, and the traffic was minimal and non-threatening.
Definitely do it again - but will train on hills more next year!!

In short: Enjoyed the race. A good start to get me back into it for 2007. The hills made you work which was good.
