In short: Enjoyable race despite the icy wind
In full: Very friendly and well organised race which was well marshalled . Condsidering it all takes place on the suburban pavements the route has been well worked out and was bang on 10 miles.
The 6 mile marker was in the incorrect place though and showed up at 5.5 miles. Didn't think I was that fast!
Good to have the warmth of the school to use before and after and coffee and cake is always a winner.

In short: Brilliantly organised, really great marshals and now spot on 10 miles with big PB potential
In full: Despite the bitter cold all the marshals were really supportive and friendly. The organisation was excellent in every respect with full results out quickly at the race HQ and up on the web in a few hours.

Great refreshments and a lightining fast course that was spot on 10 miles now that the course has been changed slightly and officially measured.
Also the cheapest race that I've entered for years -a real bargain.

In short: Better than expected!!
In full: Friendly and plentiful marshalls. Not particularly exciting route but I actually quite liked the 3 laps, I knew where I was all the time! Well organised, vey friendly, great to have the use of the school before and after to stay warm. Nice atmosphere, many thanks to the Marshall who looked after my gloves and got them back to me safely at the end!!

In short: Well organised, well marshalled, good local low-key race
In full: It doesn't sound promising - three laps of a fairly dull course - but it works. I've done this race a few times and always enjoyed it. It's very well organised and marshalled, and has a friendly atmosphere.

In short: 2nd time for me - recovery run after HellRunner. Good marshals.
In full: True to form the organisers said this would be a free entry for those last year who discovered that the distance was short. This time there was no such problem and the distance was bang on. I would say that the marshals were great - full of support and cheer - seeing as it was such a cold morning. The S.E.S Runners were out in force today and our latest member came in with a PB, doing nearly twice the distance he'd ever run in one go! The route is nothing to write home about (perhaps a route through the park could be considered in future??). Good value for money (I made a donation), good facilities and certainly a course that in future I'd like to push out and get a PB on (if I'm not recovering from another event). S.E.S Runners do their home town race, and all of us came over the line. Thanks.

In short: A great Sunday morning run out
In full: Brilliant marshals on a v cold day and well organised overall. Good local club run on a fast course would a) consider doing it again and b) be churlish to knock it for the sake of the weak tea. Good going Kent AC.

In short: Well organised and enjoyable race. Thanks especially to the marshalls for maintaining enthusiasm throughout on a cold morning. Good job all around!

In short: Short course again
In full: I paid money for a 10 mile race and didn't get what I paid for. I knew that there had been controversy about the length of this race in the past, but the race website stated that the course had been remeasured and certfied for this year. Unfortunately the race route was different from the remeasured and certified course ... it's a great PB course if you're after a 9.75-ish mile PB. The marshalls were good, there was no baggage store, drinks at the end were inadequate. I certainly won't do this race again.

In short: First timer
In full: I enjoyed the race and though the marshalls in particular plentiful and very friendly - thaks to all. Good facilities (especially parking). Did this as pre-London Marathon training and it worked fine. Ran steady for 7 miles as running with a slightly slower friend but then busted myself for the last 3 to get in at 82 mins, which I was happy enough with. Seems the course was a bit short though, not a problem for me especially, but can understand people's frustration. Would definately do it again.

In short: Shorter than 10miles!!
In full: Oh dear-I wish I hadn't read the other reviews... I was hoping that my iPhone Nike app was incorrect! Really disappointed especially as I thought I'd broken my PB!! I wasn't particularly impressed with the organisation either- almost got run over by a car at the start!

Did anyone notice that the 2 mile to go sign was half a mile down the road from the 8mile sign?

Definitely won't be signing up to this one next year!
