In short: Lack of scenery compensated for by speed
In full: OK, this is not the most picture-postcard material of a route, but it is fast. So if you're just looking for a PB this will do nicely.

In short: Well organised, but dull course!
In full: The course is 2 laps of mainly industrial estate and bland cycle path. Atmosphere good at start and finish but the course doesn't lend itself to too many spectators on the route which is unfortunate. Well organised and marsahalled but I got a disappointing time so bah humbug!

In short: Flat course, beside the Forth and Clyde Canal for several km. The start is a bit congested but the organisers have no other option. There are enough chances to get away if you want to. I loved it.

In short: Fantastic!
In full: As a very very slow run/jog/walk/jog/runner I was demotivated by last weeks race at Helensburgh but this race more than made up for it! I took almost 13 minutes off my Resolution Asset time (Yes, really 13 minutes!!!!) and six minutes off my officail Helensburgh time giving me a whopping 2minute faster PB. I came off the course with a smile and felt totally elated - Having the fast runners lap me did not bother me as many of them shouted encouragement - thanmks for that guys - you got me through!!! Can't wait for Dumbarton now. Definately my best race ever!
