In short: A good tempo run
In full: A good allround laugh on the windy seafront. At least it didn't rain!
Long time to wait for the reults, two days later and still waiting! Come on guys.

In short: It would have been faster and more scenic if the wind wasn't gale force into your face and the sand didn't blast you as you ran along the seafront!

In short: Hopefully it'll just be raining and cold next year
In full: Good run to start the year off for me. I lost the will to live whilst waiting for the results to be published so went home. The Marshalls, sea cadets etc did a great job and we thank you all for supporting in these conditions.
As everyone else has said, we got sand blasted and felt like we were running on the spot a many points but isn't that part of the fun..? Where else would you be on a february sunday morning? In bed watching Hollyoaks? Don't reply, just sign up for next year. Results please Exmoor harriers?

In short: Sand Blastered!
In full: Struth, weather was atrocious!! Got hammered by the sand whipped up by the strong winds. Turned the corner onto the seafront at the Marina and everyone was almost running on the spot!

You pay your money and you take your chance for a coastal race in February, made it very very challenging and all part of the fun.

Better organised than last year although the results not out again the next day is a huge dissapointment as every race manages it apart from this one... again!

Glad to see the race organisers paid attention to the poor momento of a ghastly yellow mug last year This years fluroscent beanie hat is probably the best goodie bag prize I have ever had. Same again next year, no doubt everyones will of had plenty of waer by February 09 and be ready for a replacement.

Great race, great marshalls, please can we have some results.

See you next year.

In short: potential fast race but strong winds prevented it
In full: This was my first race and I really enjoyed it. Stewards were marvellous and very encourageing. Only problem was the weather. gales were blowing off the beach, throwing sand and debris at us. Definately do it again.

In short: Free micro-dermabrasion courtesy of the sand along the front - conditions tough this year
In full: Really tough conditions this year. Howling gale blowing sand into eyes, mouth, hair, ears along the front. Pity the poor marshalls standing in it all race...thanks guys! Still washing it out in the bath this moring and that was after a shower yesterday. The hat at the end was probably the most welcome reward I have ever had. Put it on and did not take it off until I got home...I was so cold. the only reason I did not rate this as better organised is because it takes so long for the results to come out so that almost everyone had left. This time round the organisers had a problem with technology, but last year was not much better.

In short: Weather was awful along the front, but good workout.
In full: If the weather is ok then its a great run with potential for PB's Marshalls do their best especially as half of it is crossing roads. This years momento was a flourescent hat which was brill and I have just come back from a run this morning wearing it. Ver useful. See you next year.

In short: Tuff weather conditions this year
In full: Weather not too good this year , strong head wind along the sea front bit of sand in the eyes, but adds to the fun haha.
If the weather better potentially a fast race.
Enjoyed it and a good little work out

In short: A fast race in awful weather
In full: The marshals did well in awful conditions.Potentially a fast race and good indicator of how that winter training went. Not going to be a classic but worth a run

In short: And yet again near perfect running weather. A very distinctive race on the calender. The seafront running was particularly pleasant. Special thanks to timekeepers - well done!
