In short: The course was great, just a few minor details that can be improved on..
In full: The course was very enjoyable, well marshalled and has lots of mud.
You really need to make sure you get to the carpark at least an hour before the race. It's a 10 min walk to get to the race HQ from the carpark, then you have to queue for your race number, then you have to queue to put your bag away at the bag store. You have to warm up aswell. When I left to jog down to the start which took 10min from race HQ, there was still a huge queue of people trying to put their bags away. I got to the start and just a couple of minutes later the race started so those guys must have missed the start of the race. The race itself was well marshalled with a cheeky run down a stream at the end.

In short: Brilliant as always
In full: Thanks to Thornbury runners for putting on another fantastic Riverside Rollick. Mud seemed a lot less this year and was that a tail wind along the estuary?! Perfect running conditions, really good race.

In short: mud, more mud and stream at the end
In full: Second time I've done this but it doesn't get any easier. Yes, there's a lot of mud, but there's more to the course than that, with a couple of challenging climbs towards the end, plenty of trail and great stretch along the Bristol channel with great views. One of my favourites and a great start to the racing year.

In full: did the race today so if you ask me tomorrow i proberly would do it again.
the hills were a killer and when running on the sea/mud front the wind was bad and straight at you.
the first half was easyish but the second half was really hard.

In short: Mud, wind and more mud'; a great stamina test
In full: My first RR; an interesting and testing course; fields and enclosed lanes and then the great sweep of the Severn and the great bridges in the distance;cheerfully marshalled from arrival car park to last plunge into the stream. A fine and efficeiently-managed race. Many thanks.

In short: Lots and lots of mud
In full: The reason why I chose this as a special race is mainly because it's hard work my achilles is still throbbibg, but nevertheless I smiled all the way around, basically it's fun..........

This race has plenty of obsacles to navigate, styles and so on loads of mud to slip around on and plenty of water to splash about in!!

Anyhow this race was lots of fun ............goodtimes
