In short: A load of snow just added to the charm of this boxind day event.
In full: My 1st time at this race, an unusual 4.5 mile distance which is ideal given the excesses of Christmas day.

A simple out and back course amongst pleasant scenery, the terrain was slippy given the snow, I would assume this to be a fast course in normal conditions, mind you didn't stop the winner from looking like he was running on the track.

A lovely medal presented by the vicar of St Leonards added to the community feel of the race.

Well marshalled and some hot tea and mince pies etc at the end always goes down well.

For a fiver entry you don't get much better value than this.

A well done to the marshalls as ever, braving the cold and giving up their valuable time is something that should ever go un rewarded.

Many thanks!

In short: a must not miss boxing day race .
In full: back again for my 4th year , a well organised race and what a better way to spend boxing day morning ! great course if not a little bit tough on the way back ( mainly due to over eating the day before and not the inclines ) . without a doubt i will be back again next year .

In short: As ever a great boxing day run
In full: The mud made this a different run to last year. I think times were slower but I still had a good run. Excellent decision to get portaloos as this sped up the loo queue!
This friendly event is a must for boxing day.

In short: Wouldn't want to do anything else on Boxing Day!!
In full: Well organised, great atmosphere. Outward I didn't notice the downhills much, but sure felt the uphills on the return! A great way to spend boxing day. Oh, and the refreshments were much appreciated as were the medals. Looking forward to next year already..........
