In full: really good start with great motivation from local celebs but a finish line which was dissapointing - no food no medal.
Defo do it again, a nice flat course which got me a pb, thanks to canterbury harriers as it was very well organised

In short: Well organised, with good PB potential.
In full: Whitstable seafront provides a picturesque location for the course. Mostly flat as well, which also helps. Very well organised with plenty of marshalls along the course. Nice T-shirt as well.

In short: Superbly organised by Canterbury Harriers... a lovely, flat route with one small grassy hill between 3 and 4K... Definite PB race, wind permitting!

In short: Very enjoyable race even in adverse conditions!
In full: Fantastic atmosphere, organisation and route. Fantastic for all standards of runners and obviously massive potential for personal bests. Would highly recommend this event. Congrats Canterbury Harriers!

In full: Got my personal best (39mins 17secs) knocking 7-8 minutes off my PB so yes I'd say it has PB potential. Organisation was good, even if the cups of water could do with being a bit bigger! Even though thats not a big complaint. As soon as I got across the line I was told my place, and had my hand shaken by one of the organisers of the event, hopefully everyone got the same greeting albeit the lady would have been there for quite a while, and on a personal plus, it was right on my door step, can't say fairer than that!
Only other VERY minor things that COULD be better but doesn't to me really matter, a better goody bag, maybe a bit more than a t-shirt, and something no one could do anything about, the 30-40mph (which we STILL have...) head winds, would make running life a lot easier without those.

In short: Really enjoyed this race, first time for me.
In full: However, don't think it was a good idea to be asked to stop dead in our tracks directly after finish, was very hot and wanted to keep walking. And then to find the 'cup' of water had run out. Apart from that - a good day out.

In short: Flat, fast and alongside the sea
In full: One of the quickest courses around, although I think the first 5K is definitely quicker than the return, probably because it's downhill overall whereas the return is "just" flat.

A first for me today:2 different tee-shirts!-so top marks for generosity.

It's always good to race alongside the sea-clean air and great views over the bay.

All in all,it's a race I always come back to every year and it always scores highly on atmosphere, race venue, organisation etc etc.
