In short: Enjoyable race
In full: 3rd time I've run this and each time I enjoy it. Set a PB this time so got to be good, right? T-shirts were a big improvement on previous years towel and the finish line went much smoother.

In short: A well organised road race.
In full: organisation - good
Atmosphere - good
Start - good
Marshalling - fine
Scenery - mix of town and county
Surface - all road
Difficulty - gradual uphill for first half - then downhill - short steeper uphill around 9k. - flat last 1k to the finish
Finish - well organised
No medal - but a banana / water / biscuits / sweets / and a choice of t- shirt or towel.

Not suitable for PB due to the gradual uphill for half of the race.

In short: Great race Great T-shirt
In full: This race just seems to get better, large number of entrants nearly 900 this year with 780+ finishing the course. the course is fairly flat with one or two minor bumps nothing to hinder you with.

In short: Well organised, good friendly event. Nice course as well.
In full: I did this race about 5 years ago. I would say it has got bigger and better since my last time. Well done to the organisers.

In short: Carlsberg don't organise 10k races, but if they did...!
In full: What a fantastic 10k race this was! I had to make an 80 mile journey to attend this and glad I did. Very well organised, great atmosphere with a fantastic crowd along the way and road closures through the town made it all worth while...oh yeah, and a new 10k PB! Result!!

In short: Flat, fast, and well organised...
In full: Well marshalled, very friendly atmosphere, and good medal & t-shirt at the end. My only suggested improvement would be better speakers at the start line. On the whole this is an event that does Chippenham proud

In short: Can't think of a better event for my comeback race
In full: Picked this as my first race back after a long and miserable winter of injury, having only done a few 5k park runs this year. I'm glad I picked this one, mainly for the friendly atmosphere and support around the course.

Very well organised especially given the number of people who attended. My sister and her husband were at the race but it was so busy I didn't see them!

Very pleasant run through the town and countryside and as I say the support for a small local race was superb - thanks to everyone who made the effort to cheer us on.

I wasn't sure how I would cope with a 10k so just ran with a friend doing his first ever 10k. Wouldn't describe the course as especially flat but some friends did get a PB so there must be potential there. Personally I was just delighted to get round painlessly, even if I was 20 minutes slower than my previous worst 10k time!

Not the cheapest of races but good value, nice goodie bag at the end, liked the towel which is useful for my gym classes and a lot better than a medal. Only gripe was having to queue for so long. In fairness, perhaps the organisers didn't know how many people would turn up, so it is to their credit that they didn't run out!

Have only done this once before in my running career but will make a mental note to make this a more regular fixture in my running calendar.

Well done Chippenham Harriers, see you at the half marathon in September.
