In short: Superb Race & a Bargain!
In full: I did this race with my mate Niel & we both had a great time, the scenery was superb and the organization first rate. I got second place vet 45 with a time of around 20:20 but no official results as yet. I'll be back next year to try for first! Thanks to everyone who had anything to do with this event you made it superb, highly recommended!

In short: A tough race, but definitely worth it
In full: Anyone thinking of entering the realms of serious ultra running, this is a good race to start with. Not too hilly, not quite 100miles, easy cut offs. Plenty of food at the checkpoints

In short: Scenic challenge with marvellous support at checkpoints.
In full: this was my second year and the weather this year was ideal with clear sky at night to see the stars. An event well suited to the first time ultra runner with fantastic support at checkpoints.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyed (the memory of pain passes so quickly!). Many thanks to all of the volunteers who could not have been more helpful and supportive.
In full: My first ultra and certainly not my last. The Ridgeway is a fantastic and ancient path incorporating some of the best scenery and prehistoric monuments in southern England. The route is quite challenging but is well signposted throughout. A very well organised and executed event – thanks to the Trail Running Association and all of the local running clubs involved. A vegan meal and soya milk for my tea at the halfway point was much appreciated. Also, thanks to ‘Dave’ for his companionship through the wee hours.

In short: Excellent difficult event but well organised!
In full: Very well organised event. Fair price for the logistics of it all. Well done to all those at the checkpoints. Very cold night section so extra well done to those who helped with that. Hot dog checkpoints more than welcome. Half way point well organised. Ran this two years ago and it was well put togethor then, this was even better. First year for RAYNET, a good idea. Anyway managed to finish 19th in 20hrs 33. In a slight bit of pain now!!!

In short: A gem of an ultra
In full: Excellent, no-seams organisation. Checkpoint crews couldn;t do enough for us, particularly a generous chap at Swindon who gave me his own apple! Very welcome also were the tea, buns and grapes at Swyncombe. A supreme effort by the crews at Goring and Burydown who ran two very slick fast-food joints (OK so they happen to be my own club-mates!). Do this race - even if you hate ultras but love picnics!

In short: What an experience uplifting loved every minute.
In full: First time for me the first day was excellent with great views excellent support to Goring and halfway. The night stretch was wet but the checkpoints marvellous, running down from Barbury Castle to Avebury in the morning light mist and rain fantastic. Organisation superb a must do for all ultra runners/joggers/walkers.
