In short: Great race, my first 10k and even better that it was right on my doorstep!
In full: Good course, although I was a bit surprised about the traffic on the second lap, but overall, highly recommended! fab local race, even managed to Persuade my non runner boyfriend to be a marshall!

In short: Not as easy as you might think !
In full: Well co-ordinated race, the goodie bag and free cake were a great touch. The course was not as easy as I was lead to believe on last year's reviews. The hills were not too bad but they were there ! Also a nasty incline just when I did not need it about 4km/8km. The sharp turn at the end with 50 metres to did not help me do a strong finish. I wish I has known this when I was planning my split times. But all in all a great race, a welcome early start and friendly marshals. Well done !

In short: A few small challenging hills but very scenic. Great early start to avoid the heat and home well in time for lunch. Well worth getting up for.r.

In short: Even better than before
In full: Thought the early start and slight course change were excellent. Roads were quieter and was cooler than would have been later. The goody bag was one of the best - all the things you want after a race. Excellent organisation as ever and lovely supportive marshalls.

In short: Well organised, executed and challenging 10km race.
In full: Great organisation, encouraging and supportive race marshalls all led to a slick race - if only my run was just as slick. The goody bag at the end was spot on, medal top-notch. I will definitely be back again next year and hopefully break the 40 min barrier that I was so close to this time around.
