In short: Flattish run around nice country lanes and quite quick too!
In full: I enjoyed the 5 miler last year and so came back for the 10 miler this year!
An incredible EARLY start last year was followed this year by being 10 mins late! However, village green atmosphere meant no one really minded. Marshals friendly, water stations plentiful and well organised as was the race generally. Good course, good support, I'll be back next year.

In short: A lovely run in the countryside!
In full: Very pleasant little run around the Kent countryside. Afew undulations but nothing too scary. Nice number of entrants and good marshalling. The finish was fab - a nice crowd to cheer you home!

In short: Good enough race, just not sure about the distance!
In full: Don't get me wrong, this wasn't a bad run. It just wasn't particularly stunning. The support was pretty good, and the marshalls were all very encouraging. The course wasn't anything special, with a lot of the course on a main road. The mile marking was all wrong, I think I did a 5-minute mile (very unlikely), followed by a 9 minute mile (much more likely!). Luckily the weather had cheered up by the start of the race, which made the run itself quite enjoyable. Plenty of water stops... But WHY WHY WHY don't you get a bottle of water at the end? I couldn't find any, and I think you had to give an old lady 20p for a cup of squash! It is not just this race that I have had this problem, and I wonder how long it will be before somebody collapses because of lack of fluids post-race.

Anyhow, I seem to have given this run quite a bad rap, which is unfair, as it was very friendly, and very well managed (apart from the water!). I think I'll stop now!

In short: Lovely race, nice friendly atmosphere.
In full: Really enjoyed this race over a quickish course along pretty country lanes. My only slight complaint is that the start time was said to be 10.45ish but by my watch was nearer to 10.35ish!
Other than that excellent race and I'll be back for more next year, maybe try 10 miles.

In short: Excellent. Plenty of friendly marshalls, water stations aplenty, lots of space for baggage, undulating, scenic course.

In short: Excellent value for money and well organised.
In full: Really well organised, got a little confuesd with prize giving though. Lovely ladies handing out water at every mile. Home made cakes for sale afterwards and even got a goody bag. Over all good local village race.
