In short: Great Trail Run
In full: The course is off-road and challenging yet it offers a great introduction to trail running. The course is undulating and with nasty hill on the 9.5k.yet with great marshall support and encouragement it makes it good run..thanks to all!

In short: tough but rewarding.
In full: mix of beginners and a few club runners. Well organised and marshalled. A tough course with a hard hill at 9.5km.
Unusual prizes of Denby pottery were a nice surprise.

In short: This is my 4th year running this race, it's a nice race. Good mix of abilities, nice off road running with a good hill to finish. Good marshalling throughout and a decent cup of tea at the finish. I'll be back next year.

In short: Final hill is a killer, but otherwise great run
In full: My first trail race, and beat my estimated time by a minute even though I walked the hill at the end, so it must be good. Last 2km were quite tough. Perfect weather for it; I don't think I'd like this course in the rain and mud.

In short: Evil hill, start and finish, terrain hard but remains a must-do race if only for masochhistic puroposess!
In full: Well organised and very friendly. Not a course for the fainthearted as the start was steep downwards and you were all too aware you had to run up it at the end. The terrain was hard and stony due to the very dry conditions. I have done it most years and still turn up for it year after year, so the organisers are to be congratulated. Thanks to the marshals for their support and the Red Cross for their plasters.

In short: Only my second race so I don't have much to compare it with. The ground was very hard and rutted anddidn't like running on the bridlepath and the hill at the end was soul destroying. But I did it, bang on est time even though it killed me!
