In short: Always Fun as Usual
In full: Great Race as usual, always a challenge and another PB. I have one niggle that marshalls tried to stop fast runners to let traffic through, which can ruin your PB if your on one.

In short: A bit too hilly for my experience at this distance
In full: Great run and challenging for my experience at this distance. Nice course through both countryside and residential areas. Will try and do again next year as very close to home.

In short: Somewhat hilly!
In full: Small race with a lovely 'local' feel to it. The race HQ is on a green with the village hall providing the toilets. Fantastic support from the local residents too.

The route is somewhat hilly, with a particulary long winding one starting between 1-2 miles. A few other climbs & I swear not as many downhill sections?!

Things are keep quite simple. No chip timing, instead you're handed a piece of paper at the end with your placing. And it's a very small field but I think that all adds to the charm of it. Medal & a sports drink at the end but didn't check out the rest of the HQ to see what entertainment there was. It's great to do a race that is a different distance to all the 10ks, HMs out there & it's a good price.

Apart from the start being delayed for a few mins the organisation seemed pretty good.

In short: A great race, and worthy event but some organisational issues
In full: This is the closest race to my home and is a great family day out thanks to all the stalls, beer tent, BBQ and kids races. It is a little frustrating that they don't record finish time or publish results other than for category winners. Also, yesterday - what happened at the start? Those of us at the front had no idea the race had started until we were told by the pack behind us to get going!!!

In short: A good race with some testing hills. Thankfully the weather was dry after thunderstorms this morning. Well organised, lots of drink stations and support from locals. Definately do it again.

In short: One of my favourites... first race in 2003
In full: Apart from the lack of results, this is a charming race with great local support and really friendly to boot. ...and it is 2 miles from where I live and I always look forward to it.. until the hill at 1.5 miles!!!

In short: Great fun
In full: This is a great day out. This main race is held as part of a much larger day of races for all ages and abilities. The villagers hold a fete on the common next to the duck pond - real picture postard village scene - BBQ, tea tent with home made tray bakes, beer tent. There are kids races and a very well supported fun run. Great support from the locals - a real festival atmosphere. The Penn 7 mile is a nicely undulating course - good quick start and finish - 1 steep hill with a few other ups and downs...a very enjoyable run. Well done Penn and Tylers Green

In short: Lovely local event - not too serious.
In full: Loved the long downhill start and surprising long downhill finish too. Lovely locals out supporting too.
Nice medal - pity it didn't say Penn 7 on it.
