In full: Underestimated this one should of trained a bit more. It left me with sore legs for three days afterwards but I see the personal best potential as a long streach down hill at the start.Nice part through a park. Water stations in bottles better than cups by far.

In short: Fast course, even if it's questionable whether it can be counted as a PB. Good marshelling, with clapping policemen. Nice feeling to end with a lap of a track - felt like the Olympics

In short: Good race, well organised. PB potential
In full: I enjoyed my 1st Torfaen half marathon. A well organised race.
Upside - friendly marshalls and police.
Downside - mile markers should be clearer, saw my first one at 3 miles and then didn't see another one until 8. Could they be put on lamposts? Also, was difficult to find the bags at the finish.

I actually found that such a prolonged downhill at the start made the flat harder. I also enjoyed the finish in the stadium.
Will be back next year.
