In short: Cracking little race this
In full: I did this on the recommendation of my brother who had done it in 2011. I have to say I loved it!! That challenging hill was great fun n worth the torture for the nice feeling in my legs when it finally ended.

Pats on the back to all involved in this. If i'm in stoke-land in july again I'll be sure to do it again!

In short: Tough, hilly but lovely support and organisation
In full: Undulating course which seamed more up than down over two laps. Very good organisation with a wide start ensuring no congestion. When I did mange to look around there were some tranquil views across open farmland and woods. Apologies to the lady I apparently splashed mud onto towards the start of the race, I didn't realise I had and certainly didn't do it on purpose, I was trying to get through on tippy toe.
As I prefer off road running I am not sure I would do this again, but that's just my preference for off road running, for those into tarmac its a good challenging friendly race. Well done Trentham running club.

In short: Undulating 2 lap 10 miler with great reputation.
In full: Once again great small and local 2 lap 10 miler with a lovely atmosphere and spot on organisation.Tough hill to negotiate twice but plenty of down hill sections. First real test for me post injury but thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Trentham Running Club- you've done youself proud again.

In short: A great challenging 10 Miler put on by a great club, I'll be back.
In full: The race is a good 2 lap encounter, 1 hill is made-up by 4 easy miles each lap.
The marshalls are very good and the cones for the busy road junctions are very good touch.
On a slightly -ve note some minor issues with runner's times and team prizes.

In short: Friendly race, couple of hills.
In full: Nice race mainly down country lanes.
Friendly marshals.
The hill you have to battle twice isn't huge, just quite long.
Got a PB!!

In short: Hilly and tough in places - well worth running
In full: This was my first time for this race. Having heard about the hills I was not surprised. The hill between one and two miles meanders for about three quarters of a mile and we run the same hill again as part of a two lap course. We were definately helped by the weather today which was cloudy with a gentle breeze. On a hot day I suspect that it would be a big challenge. It would be remiss not to mention the marshalls they were enthusiastic and supportive all around the course. I will definately return next year. John Wood

In short: Well organised,friendly race
In full: The hill makes the run interesting. Pleasant county lanes in the main with a little traffic at times but not enough to make it feel unsafe in any way. Good marshaling, some good downhill sections.

In short: Yes it's tough, but it's brilliant!
In full: Everything they say about "that hill" is true and you've got to do it twice, but after that it's pretty much downhill (except for the very end!) Well organised and free t-shirts, generous prizes too (I was delighted to get something for being fourth lady, which I wasn't expecting). Marshals fab, plying us with encouragement and water. Could have done with shower facilities at the end, to be fair the otherwise fine Village Hall HQ wouldn't be able to provide these, but if the school next door (which kindly allowed us to park) did them, it would be great to use them another time. Would do this one again in the future.
